TextScout converts your mobile phone into a reading machine.

Ready to use anywhere, TextScout reads out text which was captured by the camera of your mobile phone.
In order to use TextScout you need a mobile phone with a build-in camera and a WiFi connection or mobile reception. We recommend using a data plane with provider when using TextScout.
The captured image taken with your mobile phone is send by TextScout to a central server for recognition. Within seconds the captured text is read out to you in a pleasant voice.

Independent reading

The build-in orientation aid of TextScout helps you to align the mobile phone with the text. Independently a blind user can capture text –at home or on the road.

Receiving recognized text via e-mail

Textscout can be adjusted to your personal needs. MyScout, the online service of TextScout allows you for example to set up a automated e-mailer. That was easy!

The multilingual talent

With the purchase of TextScout you are entiteld to use up to three languages. The first language is automatically activated when installing TextScout. This is also the language of the menu items. The second and third language can be selected from a list which can be found at:
