In Touch with Mathematics

Marple GWP

Tactile Mathematic Graphics

You are blind and you work with mathematic graphics? You want to touch and generate graphics?
Coupling the tactile display GWP with the mathematics program Maple is the solution for you.

The Maple-GWP System

You use the functions of the mathematics program Maple to work on maths jobs. The Maple-GWP coupling not only allows you to display mathematic graphics on the screen but also on the tactile display GWP.

Assistance functions

GWPIndividual parts of a curve can be enlarged. The coordinates of a curve can be displayed on the Braille display or passed to the speech output. Interesting curve points can be marked. If several curves are displayed, you could switch the presentation, so that one curve after the other can be explored. The axis can be turned on or off. These and more functions help you to use mathematic graphics as if it were the most natural thing in the world, just as your sighted colleagues.
