We develop, produce and distribute products that reveal new horizons to the blind and visually impaired.
Our main products are Braille output units that convert information on the screen into tactile braille writing. With these so-called Braille displays, people have access to the world of computers.
Professional workplaces are equipped with our Braille systems Modular Evolution with ATC technology or Braille Star 80. Our Braille display Braille Star 40 is especially designed for the mobile use with a laptop computer. Both the Braille Star and the compact Braille Wave can alternatively be used as a notetaker or in combination with a laptop. The Braille Notetaker Braillino becomes a complete PDA in combination with a mobile phone or a PDA. The super compact Easy Braille is connected to a PC via USB.
Moreover, you can find small, portable devices such as our Bookworm, the world's first electronic booklet with Braille output. Furthermore, we have introduced the world's first graphic display for the blind, the Graphic Window Professional (GWP).
Our product range includes products with speech output such as our reading systems Sophie and Sophie Pro as well as CCTV systems [camera reading systems].
We offer the complete equipment for workspaces for the blind and the visually impaired including installation and training on-site.

Unsere Hauptprodukte sind Punktschrift-Ausgabeeinheiten, die Bildschirminformationen in tastbare Buchstaben der Brailleschrift umwandeln. Mit diesen sogenannten Braillezeilen wird für Blinde der Zugang zu Computersystemen geschaffen.
Mit dem Braillesystem Modular Evolution oder dem Braillezeilensystem Braille Star 80 werden professionelle Arbeitsplätze ausgestattet. Der mobile Einsatz von Laptop Computern wird durch unsere Braillezeile Braille Star 40 ermöglicht. Die kompakte Braillezeile Braille Wave kann wie die Braille Star sowohl als eigenständiges Notizgerät wie auch als Braillezeile für den Laptopbetrieb genutzt werden. Die super kompakte Easy Braille wird über USB direkt an den Computer angeschlossen.
Sie finden bei uns auch kleine, portable Hilfsmittel. Das Braillino , das Braille-Notizgerät, wird in Kombination mit dem Nokia Communicator zum vollständigen PDA. Der Buchwurm ist das weltweit erste elektronische Taschenbuch für Blinde mit Brailleausgabe.
Eine weitere Weltneuheit ist unser GWP, das Graphic Window Professional, mit dem Blinde grafische Darstellungen am Computer ertasten können.
Zudem umfasst unser Programm Produkte mit Sprachausgabe wie unsere Vorlesesysteme Sophie und Sophie Pro sowie Kamera-Lese-Systeme für Sehbehinderte.
