Additionally, files can be directly transferred from the Windows Explorer or from Word.
The Triple Action Concept
The triple action keys are a new concept to use different functions with just one key. The triple action keys allow to activate three functions by pressing the upper or lower part or the middle of the key. The triple action keys are ergonomically located left and right to the Braille reading area.
Ergonomically Optimized
The Braille Star is ergonomically designed. The tactile surface of the Braille elements are concavely shaped for the perfect feel. As a result, reading in a relaxed position is a real pleasure for the hand. The function keys fit the natural position of the fingers and are ideal for ergonomic input.
The concave triple action keys are located directly beside the Braille cells of the Braille Star. There is no gap between the Braille elements and the edge of the keyboard on top. No disturbing keys are located in between. That means that there is only minimum distance between Braille display and keyboard.
Optionally Wireless
With the optional Bluetooth® connection, Braille Star 40 can be used wireless as a Braille display at your PC. With a range of about 10 metres, you are free to control your PC anywhere in the room, for example when relaxing in your armchair. Bluetooth® technology is world standard for wireless communication.
